Like you, I think of dogs as members of our family. I want to help you train your dog to make him/her a well-behaved member of your family, a dog whose companionship you can enjoy. I make training fun for you and for the dog by using positive techniques and rewards to shape the dog’s behavior. My training is designed to teach you and your dog behaviors that will be useful in your everyday life. Drop a jar of spaghetti sauce on the tile floor? Put the dog in a “down” command while you clean up the glass. Have company coming to the door? Teach the dog to sit and stay to be petted by visitors. Trying to get out of the car without the dog bolting out first? Use a “wait” command. In private training, I can concentrate on the particular behaviors that you need from your dog. My goal is to make your life with the dog easier and more comfortable. Yes, it will take some investment of time and practice on your part. But the rewards will be bountiful and long-lasting. And on the way, we'll have fun together!
