Boarding

Connecticut
Leslie Davis Kohl, offers boarding services in her home in Ridgefield.  This is a living-room setting with a couch, coffee table, rugs, dog beds, and crates for the puppies.  There is a door opening to a large double-fenced play yard. The dogs are free to go in and out all day.  Leslie delights in spoiling them with tons of affection, toys, balls,  and treats.

Leslie began her dog handling career at the tender age of eight at the Fairfield County Hunt Club, where she also socialized and trained beagles. After college, Leslie bought her first Boxer and began taking  handling classes at Ox Ridge Hunt Club, in Darien.  She joined several other dog club

s and began showing her dogs….and winning!  Leslie soon bought another Boxer which she bred and the result was her first home-bred champion with many more champions to follow.  In 1995 Leslie was introduced to French Bulldogs, fell in love with the breed and began raising and showing

them, producing multiple champions. Leslie began boarding man’s best friend in 1976. She creates an at-home atmosphere where the dogs feel safe and comfortable.

Leslie is also an EMT and is certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.

Each lesson includes training notes and handouts for you to continue the training. Each week of train and board also includes a private lesson with the trainer per week of board and train.
